I played at the Vale G.C at the weekend in the Midland Championships. My practise round went well , the course is a thinking mans course which tempts you to take shots on. Morning round, heavy rain , just what you need after a bogie start!! Played -1 after morning round, which put me in a good position for the afternoon and left me 4 shots behind my playing partner. Second round the sunshine came out and the wind dropped. Played front nine poorly as i didnt make any birdies on the par 5′s . Back nine went well, birdied the first 5 holes which left me -6 for the tournament and finnished 2nd over all .

Looking forward to my next tournament.

First competition of the year.
Played Hampshire Hog and Selborne Salver over the weekend, played well, just couldn’t light the candle! Great experience competing with some great amateur golfers.
Looking forward to next challenge Midland closed Champs.
